Thirty-three percent of women experience pain or discomfort during intercourse! We were blown away that, according to a study completed by Indiana University, nearly one-third of women reported experiencing pain during the most recent time they had sex, compared to only five percent of men. Researchers expect this is due to vaginal dryness, possibly caused by not spending enough time on foreplay and not being thoroughly aroused. “We need to pay better attention to women’s experiences of pain and discomfort during sex, including how sex can be modified through communication, foreplay, positioning or product use to improve comfort and pleasure,” said Dr. Herbenick. Pain During Sex? You’re Not Alone
December 16th, 2010My Magic Moment, After Chemo
November 11th, 2010Tammy shares
Since chemo-induced early menopause, I’ve experienced related changes in my body, one of which was vaginal tissue thinning and associated dryness. I’ve tried lots of lubricants, but many of them are made to ‘enhance’ sex, and while others may enjoy them, I find them intrusive and sometimes downright painful! Finally, with Aloe Cadabra, I found something I was comfortable with, is natural, and effective. I’ve been pleased with this product, and even better, I can order it online for the further comfort of privacy.

My Magic Menopause Moment
November 9th, 2010Susan writes in with her Magic Moment:
After the age of 51, the year I was going into menopause, I noticed sex was getting difficult with my husband. I was dry, so I began to buy over the counter products to assuage the dryness in the vagina. Most contained irritating chemicals that felt like burning in the vaginal walls, so I began looking on the internet for natural alternatives. Aloe Cadabra is a terrific product. The ingredients are natural and non-irritating and non toxic, and it is it totally natural feeling. It lubricates well and I don’t have to worry about “drying out” in the middle of sex. Thank you for this wonderful product.

Do you know what is in that personal lubricant you buy at the drugstore? You might be surprised to know that, unless you are using a non-toxic product like Aloe Cadabra, you are putting a petroleum based synthetic full of harmful parabens and chemicals onto and into your bodies. Think about that for a minute and you will come to the same conclusion I did, “YUCK! There has to be something better.”

Lubrication to Relieve Vulvar Pain
September 14th, 2010
Feeling chapped, pinched, or itchy is no way to feel ready for any sexual activity, much less be comfortable in general, so for women experiencing vulvar pain, lubrication and healthy skin are critical concerns.
Alex at VulvarVestibulitisRelief.com has put together a list of her “rock stars” of moisturization and lubrication, with attention to ingredients, cost, and pain relief or skin nourishing benefits. Aloe Cadabra is on the list, as is Vitamin E oil! We know the healing and soothing powers of aloe and the anti-aging properties of Vitamin E, so it sounds like Aloe Cadabra enriched with Vitamin E must be a winner!
What Do I Do For Vaginal Dryness?
September 7th, 2010Shelle shares this via Yahoo! Answers:
What do I do For Vaginal dryness? I’m only 21 and i don’t get moist down there… this is so embarrassing… i only have one ovary and tube… because it was removed due to a cyst… what can i do besides use lubricants?
You’re in luck, Shelle! Not only are personal lubricants perfectly acceptable to use (just make sure you’re choosing one that’s healthy for your body!), but there are several other things you can be doing to support your natural ability to lubricate. Our resident expert, Carolyn Braddock, writes about this often, and this post is a practical guide to addressing vaginal dryness, with a link to even more resources!
Among the solutions:
1. Drink plenty of water (not soda) to ensure that the body is well hydrated. Balance the diet. Add some nutritional supplements if needed.
2. Be careful about using harsh chemicals, soaps, douches, and other products containing allergens, dyes and fragrances.
3. Exercise to increase the “chi” or chi energy and breath moving through the body.
4. Stimulate your sexual organs. Lubrication may take a bit longer, but it is still there. Spend time self pleasuring. With a partner, slow down, take your time.
5. Use some personal lubricant that is natural, and will help to restore your own vaginal moisture. Aloe Cadabra is a magical gel that is 95% organic aloe.
6. Affirm you! Certainly sexual activity can be joyous and exciting. Keep the juices flowing.

Sex Accessory Review: Aloe Cadabra with Vitamin E!
August 10th, 2010Jenn has reviewed Aloe Cadabra before, so we asked her to try out our new, longer-lasting formula with Vitamin E…of course, she said yes!
What I like about Aloe Cadabra is that it feels good. A lot of personal lubricants tend to be sticky, gooey, and gloppy. Dan and I don’t use lubricants very often, except for anal play or occasionally for masturbation, so while we’re not reaching for lubricant every day, we use it enough to have experienced the general stickiness of a lot of lubes. Aloe Cadabra doesn’t have that stickiness. It has the consistency of hand sanitizer, though it is much creamier. Just a small amount, about a dime-sized worth glop, is enough, though of course for certain activities it never hurts to use a bit more.
