The Brutocos moved to the charming town of Ojai over a decade ago, and purchased a stunning, 11-acre hillside ranch. They planted their first crop of a special variety of Aloe vera, barbadensis, which is primarily grown for medicinal purposes. In those early days they used the Aloe privately as a beverage, personal lubricant, and to treat scrapes, burns and various skin irritations for farm workers, friends and family.
