ArtPark Blog loves how Aloe Cadabra “feels natural and mimics the texture and consistency of authentic lubrication. Since it contains the healing power of aloe, it would be perfect for use after an ‘intense’ session of lovemaking.” She went on to say, “If you need lubrication for one of the most delicate parts of the body, then my first choice would be a product that is healthy and does not contain harmful chemicals.”

It Feels Natural and Authentic
August 2nd, 2011Lots of Reasons, Lots of Lubes, Lots of Stains?
July 28th, 2011This review’s got it all! There are lots of very common reasons to need “a little extra slip n slide” (dehydration, pregnancy, age, and so many more), and lots of lubes to choose from…we hear all the time from people who have tried many lubes over the years and are frustrated with some of their less pleasant features, but don’t know about anything different. Probably you’ve got a “sticky body parts” or “stained bedsheets” story yourself! Check out the full story (and some shocking statistics!) at Carrie’s Rambles.
All in the name of bring my readers information, we tested this product for you (nice of us, huh?). I have to say it hands down beat out others we have tried. The first thing that I really like about it is that it comes out of the squeeze tube in a soft gel form instead of a runny liquid that never makes it to where it’s supposed to end up! Easy to apply and liquifies instantly. Smooth, silky and barely any scent. Aloe Cadabra will be our go to brand of choice from here on out.
What did you learn or experience that finally made you search for a better lube?
Vanilla Essential Oil in the Natural Aloe Scent
July 23rd, 2011We recently received the question, why include include Vanilla Essential Oil in the Natural Aloe scented product? We thought others might wonder why as well!
Many people who smell raw aloe don’t enjoy the smell of it. We put an extremely small amount, less than .005% of pure vanilla essential oil in the product to balance the scent so it becomes, essentially, unscented. Our formulation experts have indicated to us that this should have no negative impact to the human body. Our other scents, Tahitian Vanilla and French Lavender, are designed to provide sensory experiences (smells) that enhance the intimate experience, should people enjoy that.
True Pleasures says “Great Slip!”
July 19th, 2011
Here are a few comments that a blogger, True Pleasures, posted about Aloe Cadabra. Thank you True Pleasures, for sharing your thoughts!
Consistency: Aloe Cadabra is basically a gel when you squeeze it out. However, when it warms to body temperature, the consistency will loosen up. It’s very slick and takes quite a while for it to rub into my skin. I’ve had no issues with it gumming up or getting sticky, it just soaks right in.
Duration: Aloe Cadabra has lasted long enough for each one of our uses of it. I have yet to have any issues with it drying out no matter how long our sessions have lasted. If you find that it starts to dry up, you can reactivate it with a wet kiss or a bit of water, therefore saving you lubricant and money.
Packaging: The tube that the Aloe Cadabra comes in is very discreet. It doesn’t say anything anywhere about the contents being a personal lubricant. The only thing printed on the bottle is the picture and “ALOE CADABRA, Natural Aloe”. There is also a SELL BY date sticker on the back. I do like the design of the bottle. It has a flip cap and soft body for easy dispensing, and the upside-down storage method ensures you get to use every drop of it.
Expiration Date: Yes! There is a SELL BY date on the package and the bottle! Very few lubricant companies actually do that. Thank you!
The ingredient list is safe, it has great slip, it’s very moisturizing, and it doesn’t dry out and get gummy.
The Mommy Blog Loves AC’s Look, Feel, and Lack of Antifreeze
July 15th, 2011
Brittany over at The Mommy Blog gets nice and real in her recent review of Aloe Cadabra, touching on the delicacy of discussing vaginal dryness in the first place, the personal lubricant retail experience, after-sex cleanup…not to mention that there’s ANTIFREEZE in most lubes!
My hubby and I use a major brand condom and hate the sticky mess it makes and have even opted for other lubrication options in hopes of finding something less messy and gross. We were both pleased when we tried out this product. Aloe Cadabra left me soft, smooth, fresh and not wanting to run to the bathroom to hose off afterwards! Come on ladies, we’ve all been there, right? I felt confident during our encounters and very happy afterwards. Also, I loved the fact that it is 95% organic and I’m not putting horrible chemicals in my body. One active ingredient in 2 major lubricants, but not in Aloe Cadabra is Propylene Glycol, which is a thick chemical used in antifreeze, ANTIFREEZE! Why would you want that in your body?
Plus, it comes in discreet packaging with free shipping: GET SOME!
Ecobold Interviews Aloe Cadabra
July 8th, 2011
The good dudes and dudettes over at Ecobold really, really, REALLY care for Mamma Earth and your health. Their goal is to simply change the way products are made, so that they’re safe for you and for our environment after we dispose of them, and they believe that if we unite together we can make change happen.
So we’re honored that they offer Aloe Cadabra along with other fine products! Ecobold recently spoke with us about our story and why it’s important to choose a natural lubricant, as well as whether we prefer bread or chocolate!
Tell us a little bit about your background/story.
One of our founders found herself facing the problem that many women today are facing. Sex wasn’t as pleasurable as it once was. And when she went looking for a lubricant that she felt would be kind to her body, she found the market lacking. So, she did what any woman who cared about what went into her body would do. She figured out what would work better, and then she made it. The result was magic – at least she thought so! As did her husband. Which is why it’s called Aloe Cadabra. Some think the name’s kind of silly. Until, at least, they try it.

Childbirth Educator Recommends Aloe Cadabra
June 14th, 2011Molly, a breastfeeding counselor and childbirth educator over at Talk Birth, recommends Aloe Cadabra as a safe and healthy personal lubricant for new mothers, who occasionally inquire about an “all natural” option. She says it’s import for parents to be cautious and educated when it comes to these types of intimate products, since many mainstream products include harmful ingredients.
Aloe Cadabra has developed an all-natural, certified organic product made from 95% organic aloe and enriched with Vitamin E. This first and only plant-based intimate moisturizer is pH balanced for a women’s body, anti-bacterial, anti-microbial and anti-fungal. Aloe Cadabra is fully absorbed into the skin as it is used, so there is no gooey, sticky mess, and it’s compatible with condoms.
Parents are wisely careful about what comes into contact with their baby’s body…doesn’t mom deserve the same caution?
Personal Lubricant: No More Big Sticky Mess!
May 26th, 2011Jammie from The Neat Things In Life blog has not had a good experience with the several brands of lubricants she’s tried:
When I think about personal lubricants, I think of a big sticky mess. I personally am not a big fan of lubricants when it comes to alone time with my husband. Something about the stickiness turns me off.
It wasn’t long ago when it was brought to my attention about all the chemicals put into lubricants. All I have to say is eek! I’ve just found out a lot of these personal lubes contain some of the same ingredients found in antifreeze, cleaning solutions and food preservatives! Are you kidding me? I do not want anything that goes into my car to keep it at a safe temperature touching me in my sensitive area!
But after trying Aloe Cadabra:
I was very impressed that my female parts were not sticking together during fun time. How can I explain this, I felt as though Aloe Cadabra was a booster to help my body’s natural lubricants kick into play. Once it had done its job, it absorbed into my body. This makes clean up after the fact so much easier! It also put my mind to ease and my attention was all put on my husband, instead of worrying about what the sticky mess was getting on.
What was your experience of moving from other lubricants to organic Aloe Cadabra?
Still Searching for the Perfect Lube?
March 22nd, 2011We hear from a lot of women who have spent sometimes YEARS searching for the “perfect lubricant”…the one that doesn’t feel sticky, or smell funny, or contain harsh chemicals, or…
The criteria are as many and as varied as the causes of vaginal dryness or the symptoms of menopause, and since we want people to be having healthy sexual relationships even into their golden years, we’re always interested in experts sharing their often hard-earned wisdom about causes and glorious solutions to the most common sexual frustrations!
Sheri Goddard, The Menopause Coach, shares:
· 95% of all adult women suffer from occasional vaginal dryness. The birth of a child, stress and diet are common factors.
· Vaginal dryness affects 50% of post-menopausal women aged 51-60.
· 54% of sexually active women (39 million) express a desire to improve sexual intimacy and performance in their relationships.
…
According to Time Magazine October 21, 2009: ” Most of the lubricants in the U.S. – drugstores sold $82 million worth of them that year – contain chemicals found in oven cleaner, brake fluid and antifreeze.” Hard to believe!
Sheri’s search finally ended with a food-grade, 95% organic aloe lubricant with Vitamin E. Can you guess what it is? She says she wouldn’t want to be without Aloe Cadabra because it doesn’t dry out during intimacy, doesn’t irritate the vaginal walls, and is non-toxic:
This is very important as we are constantly putting toxins into our bodies on a daily basis without even noticing. Toxins can make a huge difference in the way you will experience symptoms of menopause or even hormonal imbalances. (If you aren’t familiar with toxins we are putting into our bodies daily, read under the heading of Toxic Body to learn more.)

EcoStiletto’s Sustainable Sex Guide feat. AC
February 24th, 2011
EcoStiletto is quite the resource for “eco-friendly fashion, beauty, lifestyle and celebrity advice”, and Part One of their four-part Sustainable Sex Guide is about preparing ahead of time for some planet- and body-friendly green lovin’:
Conventional lubes are a minefield of dangerous chemicals, including parabens and petrochemicals that can rub your insides raw and make you more susceptible to STDs and yeast infections. Luckily, there are amazing, natural solutions for keeping everything slick and slippery when you need it most. Choose lubes made from organic ingredients like Aloe Cadabra. It’s condom-compatible, contains certified organic ingredients, and is pH-balanced. Oh, and it’s also edible, in case your partner wants to take the hint.
